Mentors work together as one group to create a positive impact on others by providing them with tools they need to succeed. The mentor will be responsible for developing strong relationships with clients.
Duties
Mentors are responsible for assisting people in their development and growth. They will be expected to work with clients independently, charting a path that helps them develop the right skills and achieve their goals. They must have strong interpersonal skills to develop positive relationships. The mentor is also responsible for providing guidance on how best to use our programs and services. This position requires excellent time management skills which include planning, organizing, scheduling and managing resources.
Detailed job duties include:
- Analyze the needs of clients in order to ensure that they are meeting all their goals.
- Provide appropriate guidance as needed or requested.
- Provide support through mentoring programs.
Qualification
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass background check and drug test
- Ability to work in a team environment; must have strong interpersonal skills that are both professional and respectful at all times while maintaining confidentiality
- Strong communication skills
