Overview

We are a leading metal fabrication company in the United States. Our core business is to provide quality products and services for our customers, as well as providing excellent customer service through our team of professionals. The metal fabricator will be responsible for fabricating all types or sizes of steel frames, aluminum frame assemblies and other materials that we manufacture. This position requires an individual who has experience using various tools such as CNC mills and/or similar equipment.

Duties

The fabricator will be responsible for the production of metal products and a variety of other tasks as assigned. This position is located in the North Carolina area, with an opportunity to work on projects that require some travel or overtime during peak periods (up to 3 months). Must have experience working at a manufacturing facility and possess strong mechanical aptitudes including welding skills.

Detailed job duties include:

  • Perform all duties related to the production of metal fabrication products.
  • Ensure that quality standards are met and maintained in accordance with company policies, procedures and safety regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local and other laws/regulations regarding manufacturing processes for steel fabrication materials.
  • Maintain accurate records on work performed.
  • Work closely with others at various levels including sales, customer service, engineering, construction, maintenance and repair.

Qualification

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Must have the ability to work in an office environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to two years experience as a metal fabricator preferred but not required
