Duties
Operates a motor vehicle to transport passengers and equipment. This team member will perform routine maintenance on the vehicles, including but not limited to loading/unloading trailers, operating lift trucks for long periods of time (up to 50 miles), maintaining safe driving conditions in all weather conditions, performing pre-trip inspections as required by state law or local regulations and inspecting tires, brakes, lights, etc.
Detailed job duties include:
- Operate a motor vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working order, including but not limited to: trailers, lift trucks, loaders, etc.
- Ensure the safety of passengers on board vehicles as well as ensure proper loading/unloading procedures are followed for each passenger at every stop along route.
- Maintain safe driving habits by following company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service through courteous attitude.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualification
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with air brake endorsement and/or the ability to obtain one within 90 days from date of hire or transfer, as required by state law
