Duties

The order picker is responsible for picking orders from the warehouse and delivering them to customers. This position will be responsible for making sure that all items are picked up in an accurate, timely manner while maintaining customer satisfaction. In addition, this person must have excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers as well as ability/willingness to work independently or on multiple projects at once.

Detailed job duties include:

  • Picking orders from the warehouse.
  • Providing customer service by answering phone calls and providing information on products, services or other items.
  • Assist with ordering products at the warehouse.
  • Maintain inventory levels through a proper tracking system.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures when picking up merchandise.
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment including but not limited solely to checking stock level, replenishment of supplies, etc.

Qualification

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Must have the ability to work in an office environment
  • Ability to stand on your feet for long periods (up to 8 hours per day)
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal/written communications
  • Excellent customer service skills
