Overview
We are a fast-growing company that is looking for an experienced order processor to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be someone who has experience in the manufacturing industry and can work with us on multiple projects at once. This position requires excellent communication skills and strong organizational skills.
Duties
The order processor is responsible for the processing of orders and completing all required paperwork. This includes checking invoices, tracking payments, ordering products and shipping items in order to ensure that they are delivered on time and within budget. In addition, the person in this position will be responsible for maintaining accurate records as well as providing excellent customer service.
Detailed job duties include:
- Process orders in accordance with the company’s policies, procedures and standards.
- Ensure that all order information is accurate and complete at time of delivery.
- Identify issues or problems related directly to customer service.
- Maintain inventory control system for each product/service provided, including tracking items purchased from vendors within the assigned area.
- Manage order processing system.
- Monitor purchase order statuses against sales forecasts.
Qualification
- Must be able to work in an office environment
- Ability and willingness to learn new software
- Strong communication skills
