Duties
The otolaryngologist is responsible for the management of ocular diseases and disorders in patients with acute, chronic or severe conditions. This position will be located at one of our clinics on the east side of the city. We are looking for an experienced physician to join our team as we continue to grow. Our ideal candidate has experience working within the medical field but also has excellent communication skills.
Detailed job duties include:
- Provide comprehensive, individualized care to patients.
- Provide direct patient care and education through consultation with physicians, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, etc; as well as referrals from other health care providers or specialists for medical services provided by an affiliated hospital.
- Perform routine clinical examinations of patients, including diagnostic tests, physical examinations, radiology, radiation therapy, oral surgery and surgical procedures.
- Conduct pre-operative evaluations on patients using standard laboratory equipment.
Qualification
- Board certified/board eligible in otolaryngology
- Must have clinical experience working directly with patients
