The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping others find what they need from work as well as have experience working with youth. This position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You must possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously at once.
Duties
The outreach coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing outreach activities with a primary focus of providing direct service to our clients. This includes planning, organizing, scheduling and conducting field trips as well as other duties related to established policies. In addition, the person in this position will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local businesses that are interested in working with us on outreach initiatives.
Detailed job duties include:
- Coordinate the activities of outreach staff, including coordinating with other departments to ensure that all efforts are completed in an efficient manner.
- Analyze data for accuracy and completeness by reviewing reports and conducting interviews and providing feedback on progress toward goals or objectives as needed.
- Provide support through training sessions, workshops and/or conferences.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local communities across the country.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth and/or a college education preferred but not required
- Must be proficient at Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability for teamwork within a fast-paced environment
