Duties
The packer is responsible for packing and delivering products to customers.
Detailed job duties include:
- Pack and deliver products to customers.
- Adhere all safety rules, procedures and standards for the operation of a packer truck in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform pre-packing inspection on equipment.
- Check packaging material before shipment or delivery by checking labels/logbooks.
- Follow instructions from the supervisor when handling materials.
- Maintain inventory levels at assigned locations.
Qualification
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must have the ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain and snow
- Ability to work with pallets/packers is required
- Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written
