Duties
The production operator is responsible for the operation of production equipment including mills, presses and other machines. This position requires working independently as well as with others while maintaining high standards of quality and safety at all times. Must be willing/able to learn new skills quickly and efficiently and have excellent communication skills.
Detailed job duties include:
- Operate a variety of equipment in the production line, machine shop and warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records for all work performed in the plant.
- Perform daily inspections of machines.
- Provide quality control services by performing routine maintenance tasks at assigned sites.
Qualification
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Good communication skills are essential.
