Duties
The production technician is responsible for the production of products. This includes manufacturing, packaging, assembly, finishing, testing and maintenance. You must have experience with various industrial machines.
Detailed job duties include:
- Perform all aspects of the production process, including preparing and testing equipment, setting up work orders for each job.
- Ensure that quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of material used during manufacturing processes such as inventory levels.
- Monitor performance against established safety guidelines while performing tasks related to daily operations.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential for this position
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
