As a program specialist at CCS, we have extensive experience in managing complex projects from concept through completion. The program specialist will be responsible for providing technical support on all aspects of project management including planning, scheduling, budgeting, reporting and documentation.
Duties
The program specialist will be responsible for the implementation of diverse programs in support of our clients. This includes managing program budgets, scheduling, developing project plans and providing technical assistance with planning, development, testing and evaluation. Will also be responsible to support client requirements through coordination with other departments within the organization. In addition, this position is also responsible for maintaining an effective working relationship between internal stakeholders as well as external customers.
Detailed job duties include:
- Provide technical support to the program team and other stakeholders.
- Provide project management, planning, implementation, training and evaluation services for a variety of programs.
- Development of work plans that are aligned with business needs.
- Analyze requirements from various sources.
- Work closely with internal departments on issues related specifically to contract administration.
- Review contracts as needed by client organizations.
- Partner with external partners to develop strategic partnerships across multiple disciplines.
- Conduct research into current trends within industry.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a program specialist
- Experience managing multiple project teams is preferred
- Prior work experience will be considered for this position
- Strong analytical skills are required to understand complex problems and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
