The registered nurse position will be responsible for managing all aspects of clinical care, including scheduling appointments, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, maintaining records and performing physical examinations.
Duties
The registered nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive, high quality nursing care to patients in acute and chronic care settings. This includes assisting with patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, discharge planning, documentation of clinical outcomes, evaluations and follow-up visits.
Detailed job duties include:
- Provide patient care in a clinical setting.
- Provide direct nursing services to patients with acute and chronic illnesses, including but not limited the management of medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke or other health related disorders and provide treatment for those who are at risk from developing an illness or injury through appropriate intervention.
- Perform physical examinations on patients using standard diagnostic tests.
- Review all documentation provided by physicians regarding their diagnoses and treatments within established guidelines.
- The ability to work effectively with others is essential.
Qualification
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of California
- Current CPR certification
- Experience working under pressure is highly desired
- Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality
- Proven ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills
