Duties
The registered nurse is responsible for providing a wide range of health care services to patients in the telemetry department. This includes performing physical examinations, administering medications and other medical procedures, conducting patient assessments, including diagnosis, treatment planning, management and discharge planning.
Detailed job duties include:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with the standards of practice and clinical practice.
- Provide a high level of quality nursing services.
- Keep documentation for treatment planning or management activities.
- Perform all necessary assessments on patients’ health status including screening, assessment, evaluation and treatment plans according to established guidelines.
- Analyze data related to physician orders.
Qualification
- Current license as registered nurse in the state of California
- Must possess valid CPR certification
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years old
